Doug's Dinner Bucket - Hudson

I went from Doug on many occasions, but I never had the opportunity to eat there. Early Sunday morning. Great breakfast. Clean and super friendly. Would recommend.

Don’t expect a fancy granola bowl here. You won’t find frappuccinos, cappuccinos, lattes, or even any kale. This small, unassuming joint is all about the pure, American spirit. If you want to wake up and kickstart your day, and if your stomach is growling like it’s been through a rough night, come to Doug’s. They’ll serve you a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs before you’ve even turned off your car. While you wait, grab a hot, black coffee—it’s guaranteed to be the cheapest, strongest brew you’ll find outside of Prince William Sound. If that’s too much for you, take your social justice warrior self over to Scribbles, where you can sip decaf and ponder life in a coloring book.

I absolutely love the warm hospitality of this restaurant. The food is made from scratch, which is pretty rare these days, but it has that comforting, home-cooked feel. Breakfast and lunch are the highlights for me! It truly feels like my home away from home.

Glad we stopped here on way to Cuyahoga Valley NP. The homemade bread was fantastic and the hand cut fries were a plus! The owners are friendly and it was a great meal!
