Bidra med feedbackOrdered the bottled corn milk and found milk and condensed milk clearly listed as ingredients in both English and Vietnamese.
Com chay restaurant with vietnamese menu placed under glass tabletop. Had Fried mushroom dumplings which were delicious. Prices are reasonable and place looked very clean.
Lovely warm welcome from our host my partner and I ordered the crispy fried spaghetti and com dia for dinner. The food arrived within 5 minutes, which was slightly questionable, and my rice plate was lukewarm (possibly sitting out from lunchtime? . When I reached the bottom of the plate, I found a dead fly buried underneath the rice... We also ordered an order of spring rolls, which are actually fresh rice paper rolls (delicious, but not what we thought we were ordering . For 80k in total (with two soft drinks , the food was superbly cheap and plentiful, and the server lovely, but the hygiene was really off putting.
This charming restaurant is located just a short distance across the bridge from the lively town. It's only about a 5-minute walk away, but it feels like stepping into a different world. The restaurant is bustling with locals and the enticing smells wafting from the kitchen are irresistible. The menu offers a wide variety of options, making it difficult to choose. After seeking recommendations from a local, we decided to try the jackfruit mixed with sesame (mit tron me) and the mushroom fried with dough (nam phich bot), both of which were incredibly delicious. Additionally, we ordered the Kimchi hot pot, which was a standout dish that I highly recommend. To complement our meal, we were served a refreshing jug of tea. Overall, I have to say that this is the best dining experience I've had in Vietnam so far!
We had a great experience at this affordable and tasty restaurant on our first night in Hué. The staff was friendly and some could speak English. They gave us an English menu, although it wasn't as updated as the Vietnamese one, but it was still easy to order. There were many locals coming and going, some of whom were very welcoming to us as tourists. The front of the store is open, providing views of the river. We were able to enjoy great views and people watching while sitting under the overhead fan they turned on near our table. The prices were very reasonable for a sit-down restaurant.
