Bodega Labios - Huércal-Overa

We were introduced to this Bodega by friends who had been several times before. We were promised good food, plenty to look at and great wines produced by the owners. We weren’t disappointed on any level. Very welcoming staff brought us delicious tapas and lovely wine. We had taken our own bottles to fill with red and white wines to take home. Friends commented how lovely the wine was and at €2 a litre we will certainly be back for more. Well recommended.

We could not have been given a warmer welcome to this restaurant. We chose to sit outside and even though this is next to the road there was no traffic to spoil our conversation. The menu is well priced and offers a great selection to cater for all tastes. The staff were attentive and friendly, it helps here if you have some Spainsh in your locker as they are keen to please and give you options when you order. The food was well presented and cooked nicely and our party of four who all had something different could nothing fault anything. At just over €80 for us all with drinks, dessert and a couple of coffees for good measure we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will happily return and recommend it to you to try.

Traditional Spanish bar/restaurant, with cosy atmosphere. Warm, friendly welcome, Extensive menu to suit all tastes and superb cuisine. A real gem! We look forward to our next visit!

We ate here twice last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate outside as opposed to in the restaurant. The outisde seating is across the road from the restaurant and takes the form of basic chairs and tables. The standard of food was excellent and definitely Spanish. The staff were all very friendly with the senior waiter being quite a character. We had a one course meal including to bottles of wine for 113 euros (5 people). The second time we only had starters (which were more than enough) and another two bottles of wine for only 60 euros (again for 5 people). Its a bit of a sports' bar and we happened to be their for the Spain versus France football match which was projected onto the walls of the square, but it certainly did not detract from the experience.
