Marsalas Italian Grill - Humble

I loved this place so much, unfortunately I live an hour away and was only in the area for some pictures. The service was amazing, I believe the staff was recognizing some regulars or people that frequent the place often which was nice to see. The staff was excellent, I saw the owner lurking over to make sure everttthing was running smoothly, which is also nice. And lastly my ravioli alla vodka was amazing, and for only 11 dollars even with chicken. Not to mention, the garlic knots were free!!! And they were amazing!!! If I lived near this place I’d be going every weekend.

This was are go to place for Italian food. Visited a few days ago, and the food was not what we come here for. All items were lacking the bold flavors we have come to expect. Ordered spinach artichoke dip. Ordered the Pasta Veneto. Chicken Marsala and a pizza. Even the complimentary bread. New recipes? Different ingredients? I'm not sure what change, but if this is the new normal, no longer special and not are go to place.

I am not a big fan of Italian food and came here because my daughter chose it for her birthday dinner and what I must say is WOW this place was amazing! Everything was delicious from the appetizers and main course to the desserts and not only the food, but also the atmosphere and service was excellent and really enjoyed the saxophone player, will definitely come back.
