Bidra med feedbackWow! I tried Hoageez in Hummlestown, PA for the first time today. I'm very special and my sandwich was HEAVENLY! As a German American, born by a European Saxon German born father (especially NOT PA Dutch), my order was on the German side, definitely not South Philly Italian. Roast Beef, extra meat, hard-sawed role, certainly horse Cheddar, with salad and extra tomatoes, Mayo and a few other touches was the excellent companion with a German Pilsner when I came home. I visited the Oktoberfest in Munich! You can make your sandwich your ethnic origin. Really!
The locusts here are great. Probably some of the best Huagies in the area. The time it takes to one of them combined with the fact that they are some of the most expensive and things like sweet peppers are an add-on for added price makes it not worthy 5 stars.
I went to stop here on my lunch break and I couldn't pay cash. I don't see why you would exclude someone that is willing to pay just because you have money. I only had a certain amount of time for lunch and I heard good things about your subs, but now I had to stop down the road to get something at a fast food place, because I wasted my lunch break going to Hoageez.
I have tried to go here two times within one week, both times I waited in line to be told that they have run out of bread. I get that they order it fresh but from speaking with other customers it sounds like this happens very often.
I probably get Hoageez one a week at this point, and love it every single time. Quality products, always ready on time, always friendly staff. Kind of like the concept that once they're through their fresh bread supply for the day, the store closes (still manage to be open well into the afternoon everyday). Can't say enough good things about this place. Only potential negative: sometimes they're closed on odd/random days, but because it's a small business that treats their employees well, I understand. Also they do a good job of communicating these on Google, their website, etc.
