The Los Angeles Banh Mi Company

I was looking for something different from my usual lunch options and stumbled upon this restaurant on Yelp. With its excellent reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! I ordered the pork and the Vietnamese ice cream coffee. The banh mi was fantastic: the bread was fresh and crispy, and the ingredient ratios were just right, making everything delicious. The coffee was a bit stronger than my preference, but I simply added some water from the complimentary water station, and it turned out perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I really hope more people discover this place, as it was quite slow during lunch, and I’d hate to see them close due to lack of business before I get a chance to come back.

I discovered this hidden gem near my workplace! It’s a refreshing departure from all the typical Mexican restaurants. I’ll definitely be coming back more often. The pork and Dac Biet special sandwiches were outstanding. Highly recommend! Make sure to stop by if you're in the area!

Carnitas banh mi...perfect blend of Vietnamese and east LA carnitas yumminess in a soft toasted baguette. Tried the fermented roasted garlic mayo on the house...took the sandwich to the next level. And the best shrimp chips!!!! #smallthanks #banhmi
