Bidra med feedbackI would gladly work at House of India for a year without pay, just to receive one recipe at the end! This restaurant is a must-try in Huntington, offering the best food around. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and you can customize the spiciness level to your liking. Even those who claim to not like curry will fall in love with this place. The butter chicken, Eggplant Bharta, Garlic Naan, MALAI KOFTA, CHICKEN TIKKA KEBAB, Rogan Josh, and many others are all must-try dishes. Every meal at House of India is exceptional. Their delivery service is top-notch and the food is always well-packaged. Dining at this 5-star restaurant is a delightful experience. The family who runs the restaurant is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I would like to express my gratitude to them for serving such delicious food to the community of Huntington.
This was the worst meal I've had in a long time. The Chicken Tikka Kabob was dry and bland, resembling nothing more than a chopped chicken breast with a small serving of sauce. The Chicken Biryani was passable, with moist chicken but lacking any other substantial ingredients besides flavored rice. The soup was awful, tasting like vinegar instead of being flavorful. The Nan bread was decent. Overall, I was very disappointed, especially considering how much better the food used to be at this restaurant.
Worst meal in a long time. Soup was tasteless except for a vinegar flavor. Chicken Tikka Kabob (had no color to it) was little more than dry cut up pieces of chicken breast with a tiny cup of sauce-awful. Chicken Biryani had plenty of chicken which was not dry but little else. Ive had it from here before and it was loaded with other things besides flavored rice. Nan was good but had little ground meat. Just a very disappointing meal from a place that I know can do a lot better.
The Lamb Rogan Josh lacked flavor and heat, and the meat was not as tender as other places I have tried. The Chicken Jalfrezi was a huge disappointment, with sauce that tasted like it came from a jar or can and chicken that was not tender. Both dishes seemed reheated and not fresh. The only dish we enjoyed was the Navrattan Shahi Korma. The naan was cold and possibly stale. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food quality considering the high price point. It was far from mediocre, in fact, it was terrible.
Yum. Delicious! Breads are spectacular as well as the tikka masala and saag paneer. Manhattan East 6th street level.
