City Hall Cafe Pie - Huntsville

I opted for the bun-less sunny side burger, paired with the mixed vegetables as I try to make healthier choices. The vegetables were good, and the burger was perfectly cooked and delicious; I'm sure it would have been amazing with a bun too. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We give it two thumbs up!

Well, we’re in a new city and trying out a new restaurant. I think she found it on Google. They informed us right away that this is not fast food. Although it wasn't packed, there were quite a few tables occupied, so the staff was busy. The restaurant is spacious, but the parking situation is very limited, and we ended up parking two blocks away. Once again, I forgot to take food photos because we were too absorbed in our conversation... There were three of us dining. We started with hot sauce and chips as an appetizer. If you enjoy a sweet hot sauce, this is the place for you, but we personally do not. We all agreed that the food was tasty, though the portion sizes were a bit small. The house Margarita and the Vodka Martini were both delicious. We also appreciated the cool and relaxing interior decor. A shoutout to our waitress for her impressive work managing her section and attending to everyone.

For dessert, we chose a cake flight to sample various flavors. The Key Lime cake was decent but lacked the vibrant citrus kick I expect from a true Key Lime Pie. The Pumpkin Pie also didn’t have the strong pumpkin flavor that I was hoping for. The Vinegar Pecan cake was just okay. It seemed like all the cakes came from pre-packaged commercial crusts, making them rather forgettable. Nonetheless, we will definitely return, especially for those amazing margaritas!

Good food and wonderful service. Nice selection on menu. My nephew ate everything he ordered, which is a miracle. The atmosphere is cool. If you grew up in the south, especially in Texas, you will find something from your childhood on the walls or in the decor. Not excessively loud or overcrowded. Pie offers are excellent and what we cost rival grandmother. Had pecan, vinegar pecan pies and chocolate cake...

This place is nothing short of fantastic! Had reason to be in town to watch an athletic event at the University. Received several recommendations, and all were spot-on. What I love even more than the food was the service. Wait staff was terrific, taking the time to share their personal recommendations when given several choices by the many people sitting at our table. By the way, save plenty of room for dessert. The pie selection is to die for... Simply nothing like it in the rest of the US throughout my travels.
