Mei Wei Asian Bistro - Huntsville

An interesting detour! Started with the Mongolian with beef and fried rice. The beef was tasty but my wife was suspect that it was actually beef. I was happy with the flavor though the texture was a bit different. Sauce was delicious. Decided to go back for a chicken fried rice and it tasted like brown rice with lots of salt. Very little flavor.

I've been on a Mei Wei kick lately, and the only thing I regret is not discovering this place sooner! The sesame seed chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup is absolutely outstanding!

The spring rolls were quite greasy, but everything else was outstanding. The service was exceptional, and the guidance from the front-line staff was truly helpful.

The food here is tasty, but the hours are extremely unreliable. I've tried to visit four times and arrived 1-2 hours before the posted closing time, only to find the restaurant unexpectedly closed. Most places dealing with staff shortages manage to put a sign on the door to inform customers.

Great food and fast service at a reasonable price. The dining area was clean and well lit. What more could one ask for? Close to home so it?s a favorite of ours.
