Bidra med feedbackWe dined here for a meeting and dinner, and it was my first time at this restaurant. It was a fantastic experience! Everything was delicious, especially the fillet and the cornbread. The service was absolutely outstanding as well! I can definitely see many more dinners at Purveyor in my future.
For our main courses, we chose two specials: the skate wing (a first for all of us) and the NY Strip Steak. Our fantastic server, Ray, recommended the truffle butter—which I was already considering—and we also added some scallops to our order. Without a doubt, they were the BEST boiled scallops any of us had ever tasted. And as for the truffle butter, it’s something you could put on just about anything. For variety, we also had ribeye and lamb dishes. The carrot fondue puree paired with the lamb was incredibly tender and smooth, while the lamb itself was cooked to perfection with a crispy herb crust. We also enjoyed local oysters and a delightful watermelon brussel sprout dish, which is an absolute must-try. After such perfection, we thought we wouldn’t need dessert, but knowing that Purveyor had hired a confectioner from Bellagio, we just had to indulge. We ordered the kumquat cheesecake with peach ice cream and the decadent Mexican chocolate cake. Both desserts were truly delicious and absolutely flawless. Overall, I can confidently say that this is the BEST restaurant we visited in Huntsville and easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We have been to similar restaurants with cheaper offerings, but Purveyor stands in a league of its own. I will be hard-pressed to find another place that matches the exceptional culinary experience here. Kudos to Purveyor! Please extend my gratitude to your boss and the entire staff.
We had an outstanding dining experience from the moment we arrived for dinner. Our server, Dave, was fantastic, but what impressed us even more was the teamwork among the staff. Everyone was attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty and promptly clearing away plates. The bread was delicious, and the yams, scallops, and green sauces complemented each other beautifully. However, the true highlight of the evening was the halibut—it was exceptional. We capped off the meal with a luscious lava cake. If you're in Huntsville, be sure to add Purveyor to your list!
Amazing food and service! Purveyor's menu is for a three course meal. The portions are small but packed with taste.
One of my favorite fancier Huntsville restaurants. The cocktails (cotton gin and dynamite) were tart with a hint of sweetness. If I had to choose only one, it would be the dynamite. They have a pretty good bourbon selection as well. The food was fresh and hot. We order a ribeye, Brussels and scallops. The scallops were like butter. Melted in your mouth. Note they do not have cream brûlée (a staple) but they do have a great pasty chef from Las Vegas. The service is always on point. Highly recommend going here for a special evening. Make sure to make a reservation. If you cancel it?s a $25 fee fyi. Enjoy!
