Kansas Wine Beer Garden - Hutchinson

This fair trumps Missouri and Nebraska and is in the same class as Iowa. I'm a city girl who can't tell one soybean from the next but that doesn't matter. It's STILL fun to play amateur livestock judge. The entertainment worked and was relevant timber sports, cowboy shootout, informative barn tours and a whole barn dedicated to baby animals and their births which was SUPER neat. And the food? Yeah. PRO TIP skip the boiled eggs at the Hampton and go early for biscuits and gravy in the air conditioned bakery.

One of the better state fairs I've to, try to hit a new state every year. It rivals Iowa. Great food options, great entertainment and a nice venue.

Charming local pub with great tacos, refreshing beer, and delicious steaks. This became our favorite lunch spot during our time in Hutch.

I'm glad they decided to cancel this event, especially during the pandemic when some people aren't being responsible about staying home. Thank you for looking out for the people of Kansas!

The waiting staff is excellent, the drinks are great, and the music is fantastic!
