Downtown Bistro - Hyannis

During our vacation, my wife and I dined at this restaurant. We enjoyed the garlic bread appetizer, but we didn't find anything else particularly memorable about our experience. It's a nice place located on main street, but we don't plan on dining there again.

This restaurant is exceptional. The staff is attentive and friendly, with a remarkably positive attitude. I tried the specials menu, starting with a delicately prepared Sashimi Salad, followed by a perfectly cooked Steak au Poivre. All the ingredients were obviously fresh, of top quality, and artistically presented to the highest standards. The front of house operation at this restaurant is a lesson in how restaurants should be run, and the kitchen is simply incomparable.

Hands-down the best penne vodka I have ever had in my life. My grandfather had the lasagna on one occasion and ribs on another; he said both were delicious. We have gone here a bunch of times and also gotten take-out. They have outdoor seating, although not in the winter (I don’t think).

Bianca was amazing. We reserved a 12 top table on a busy Friday and they were so accommodating and the space is beautiful. Food is unreal and for a small kitchen comes out surprisingly quick. Will be coming back next time I visit!
