The Manchester - Hyndburn

If you are looking for convenience, then this is the place for you. After a long day of traveling to Blackpool, my family and I stumbled upon this family pub. Although it was empty when we arrived, we decided to give it a try. The menu had very limited options, so we opted for the Friday deal which included Cumberland sausage, bellies, gravy, and a drink. Unfortunately, the beer we received seemed to be powdered and we were not informed to order dessert when placing our food order. We were exhausted from traveling with our two 10-year-old children and just wanted a simple meal in a comfortable setting. The person who served our food was polite and friendly, but trying to find the staff proved to be a challenge. Ultimately, the food did not live up to the price we paid and the atmosphere was lacking for a family pub in a bustling seaside town. We will not be returning to this establishment.

I dined at this restaurant twice last week. The service was good and the food was delivered quickly, it was decent pub food. However, my only critique is that they now show sports on all the TVs, even in the family area upstairs. I believe this is a disappointment as children used to watch cartoons during the day. They do have a soft play area for young children, but I think having cartoons on the TV would entertain older children as well. If you want to watch sports, I suggest going to the sports bar instead.

During a visit to Manchester, my cousin and I stopped by a restaurant for a casual drink. However, things took a turn when I ordered a double Jack Daniels with ice cream, priced at £6.80. This felt like a complete rip-off, considering you could buy a bottle at the supermarket for only £18. It's disappointing to see such high prices being charged, especially when many people are facing financial difficulties with food and fuel bills.
