Pizza Car - Ica

What a pleasant surprise! In the middle of Ica is a pizza joint owned and operated by an American and a Peruvian couple. I wouldn't be able to tell you how to get there, but your taxi driver will know!! And it's worth the visit!!...Thin crust pizza with so many different combos; meat, veggie, Hawaiian. It's a break from traditional Peruvian food and hosted by locals who also speak English so they can help you navigate your way around Ica. Josean and Resha are so friendly and more than happy to help you out, they even guided us to our buggy ride of the sand dunes, a Must Do when you're in Ica. They're open late, so perfect after a long day of sightseeing or a long night of drinking. Tell them Shannon said hi and enjoy your pizza!!

I don't understand the good reviews. that was terrible. my lasagne tasted like nothing and the pizza of my friend was 100% frozen and not freshly prepared. it had no taste at all and came to our table after 5 minutes. don't go here. it. is a much better and cozy place (brago pizza) a few minutes on the road.

The cost is really expensive and the taste of pizza is really disgusting. You don't have the book.

This place was a great surprise. we made a walk to see if there was a restaurant near our hotel (villa jazmin) and stopped at pizza car. the pizza was delicious, some of the best I ever had. large selection of delicious beats and fully cooked thin crust.

This turned out to be one of our favorite dinners in Ica. The place is run by a wonderful young couple who are gracious hosts. We arrived late one night with our family and had wonderful pizza along with great pisco drinks. We ended up...staying for an hour or so having drinks and visiting with the owners. I was reminded to write this review (a bit late! after sharing one of the bottles of pisco they make with some neighbors here in the US last night, who also happened to be from Ica small world. Well worth the stop for pizza and drinks if you are in Ica!
