Villa Di Chiesa - IGLESIAS

The Location is very nice and the food tastes good. We just gave the restaurant 3/5 stars because the amount of food that you’ll get for the price is embarrassing.

Situated in a square in the center of Iglesias, when walking in, this restaurant give a sense of simplicity and cleanliness. We (couple went there for a dinner. The owner (Alessandro?!? welcomed us and made the experience so enjoyable with his calm and very kind manners. Although we were friendly he kept a very professional behaviour until the end of our meal. Service was spot on and at the end a very pleasant chat with him. Food (fish mostly was one of the best ever had. Tasty, fresh, well cooked, presented and portions were good for the place. Desserts were also good but tiramisu ' was disappointing to me just because I am very traditional and picky on it. Only note I need to mention is about Spaghetto con vongole . Spaghetto was good, not overcooked but was a spaghetto with oil and parsley. Clams were also very good and fresh but felt like they placed just clams on top of the dish once the pasta was plated already. When ordering this kind of pasta you normally expect pasta creamed with condiment together and plated. In this place (or maybe this time only when you eat you feel like to eat 2 dishes: pasta with oil and then clams. Price was ok for what we had. Surely I will be back. Thanks for the experience.

This restaurant is quite understaffed as there are too many tables for few waiters..they are friendly but just always forget something..first the wine menu..then the knive and the spoon..then the wine cooler. we had to ask few times for the bill until the point that we just went inside ourselves to pay..only cash and no credit card.. the prices was quite expensive..and the food..well at least it was fresh but too expensive for what you get.

Ospitalità 10,servizio 10 cibo 100% delizioso pesce,presentato ogni volta nel modo migliore abbiamo preso un antipasto di 8 porzioni uno più buono dell'altro.due prima. all'unico odore. hanno sentito profumi reali...il vino è argiolas eccellente .profumato e un sapore indimenticabile.i ragazzi al service.carinissimi..il proprietario una persona a portata di mano....complimenti a tutti dalla cucina e tutto il personale. i Romani
