We regulars at this restaurant. But of late the standard of service , from the hostesses at front of house , to the waitrons is becoming poor.
Good vibey... Friendly waiter... i love it all..will come back..
A beautiful and affordable restaurant at V&A. They have great views of the harbour and serve exquisite food. The place gets really packed, we tried to call and reserve a table prior but that was not possible so we had to wait a bit for a table. I went with my infant so we struggled a bit with a pram but eventually got a spot. The service wasn’t the greatest, I understand that it was quite full but it did feel like our waitress often forgot about us with requests like straws or glasses etc where I eventually walked to the bar to get these items myself. The food was amazing, this was my 3rd visit and we still got decent sized portions, tasty and they run a number of specials so it wasn’t too heavy for the pocket. I think it’s great for adults or older children but not so much for if you have kids under 10years, my boys were “shoooo’d away” when they tried to get a closer look at the boats on the deck. The adults however had a lovely time.
Great food, but given it four stars for now because the starter seafood chowder wasn’t great. I think they could improve the recipe. (willing to rate five stars in the future) The hake with salad, steak and chips was lovely. Oysters are fresh The portion size on the chicken was massive for one person, I assume you could feed two people.
