Van Hunks - iKapa iNingizimu Afrika

I love this restaurant for its architecture, which reminds me of my person's family home but with even better cooking (her parents are English). My person used to socialize and enjoy herself at Van Hunks, whether it was having a beer and watching the game at the bar with strangers or having a birthday celebration on the terrace with friends. I adore the beer garden atmosphere outside and the cozy feel of a transformed family home inside, complete with a piano, fireplaces, books, and artwork that add character. In the summer, my person treats me to the rib special every Sunday evening, while in winter she works on her laptop by the fireside but still orders the ribs. Van Hunks has the best ribs in Cape Town, they are so tender they fall off the bone! I even get to enjoy the bones afterwards! My brother, Martini, who is only a pet unlike me, loves the pizzas here for their authentic Italian quality and generous toppings. We are always treated like royalty at Van Hunks, with friendly and attentive service while I am given space to do my job of looking after my person. My brother, on the other hand, enjoys the attention at the bar and often receives treats from other patrons. Thank you to everyone at Van Hunks. We may have missed a couple of weeks, but we will definitely be back soon.

Very well priced for the location!! Great specials, pizza, cocktails and beer. An awesome experience anytime of the day, be it morning or evening for drinks.

I celebrated my friend's birthday at this restaurant, and we had a great meal and an amazing atmosphere! This place was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning. Rating: Awesome. Would highly recommend.

Go there for one of their specials like the 90 rands for 2 breakfasts and you will gonna have a great meal for a really cheap price. Very friendly workers and chilled atmosphere, nice view!

The restaurant is simple, tasty, and reasonably priced. The service is good and friendly. The ambiance is nice and vibey, and can get quite festive. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal and a great spot to have drinks with friends.
