Takuapa Thai Deli Shop - Iloilo

A simple yet great place in iloilo when they are looking for authentic Thai cuisine. I personally suggest their padthai! it tasted as if I were in Thailand and not to mention the super affordable trips. If you find something new to eat, try.

Authentic thai restaurant. Very cozy and homey. But also very small. The food is delicious and the servings are big. Parking is a bit tight and the place is usually full so you have to come early to get a seat. The staff is nice and friendly, but they are a bit harrassed when the place is full.

I tried the satay, roti with Curry Dip and they're quite good. The curry is not as thick as I wanted though.

Not bad, a bit light on the spices and flavors. The chicken cashew is good but sometimes too salty.

Ordered food delivery from Takuapa Thai Deli resto today. Overall, the food price is affordable (reasonable based on its serving size). Normal serving size is usually good for 1 person. The food is tasty but just typical thai food, a little oily and lots of spices. Ordered the following: 1. Roti with curry dip its ok 2. Phad thai (with egg) not the usual phad thai that i have tried, but tasty. 3. Tom yum goong its okay 4. Fresh pho pia spring rolls this is good, esp with the peanut sauce. 5. Tod mun goong shrimp cake this is also good 6. Phak bung fai daeng stir fried kangkong the kangkong itself is hard to chew, but the sauce is good. With a little kick of spicy sauce. 7. Khao phad pu crab fried rice not much crab, oily. 8. Kai phad kratiem garlic peppered chicken too strong flavor. (Nakakaumay) 9. Pandan chicken- 3pcs with rice... oily rice but taste good. Pandan itself is okay. 10. Roti with banana probably because of the oil, it changes the whole taste to something unusual. But its okay. For size comparison, we are 5 people, and i ordered 2orders per meal above (except for #1 and #10). Still the price is okay.
