Bidra med feedbackWe visited the city and decided to eat here, and I'm so glad we did! We tried three different types of their pretzel dogs, all of which were delicious, but the garlic parmesan pretzel dog was definitely the standout. They also offered some tasty dipping sauces to accompany the pretzel dogs. Everything is made fresh, so be sure to allow about 15 minutes for preparation. The service was incredibly friendly as well. I would give it six stars if I could!
Nice surprise! For the most part, I avoid all the food centres beside any tourist spots, beaches, etc., as I generally feel that these places have spent all their money on their rental contract and not on good food. After seeing great reviews for this place, I decided to give him an attempt. Basically connected to the IB pier, the location is great and you can be a few steps and on the beach. When we got up, there was a jazz return from Hey Jude, which played on a front speaker. The store was small, and not much room inside, except to order and take a drink from the refrigerator. However, there were outdoor tables and seating and many places nearby to sit when the tables are full. The lady, I suppose one of the owners, gave us a kind greeting and was very patient with us when we tried to find out what we wanted. She was helpful in explaining the variety of dipping sauces they had and pages. We finally finished our order, and the guy works (man? We grabbed a covered table and sat down and listened to the jazzy Beatles covers and people. Not long after, the lady catches my attention when I went on the door and let us know that our order was ready (I think they use the speaker name if you are not close. There were a variety of sauces and mustards (a lot freshly made by the owners, and since we couldn't decide exactly what we wanted, the lady took a paperboard and basically gave us a sampler of all sauces, and put them on the paperboard like a painter palette, which everyone was. Have not met so nice and helpful people in a food community in a long time. Now for dinner! We have a sandwich, a hearty crepe and a salted pulp. It was simple breakfast brunchy meal, and I just expected it average quality as it was a place right on the beach, and was quite cheap. To my surprise, our food was really delicious! The crepe was filled with a good amount of meat and cheese, was perfectly cooked, and was perfectly folded together to make it easy to eat. The veggie sandwich was perfectly roasted and had exactly the right amount of everything to give it a good taste. The pulp was kind of fluffy, but still crispy on the outside, warm and damp. I don't know how they did it, I'm used to those who serve them to most other Brezel sites that always taste kind of stale. We dived our pulps into the range of painters sauces, and they were all good, and had very different flavors. I don't remember what it was, but my favorite was the dark purple. I'll go back to taste more of her food! Total, great place! Very reasonable prices and delicious food! Great location, good music and friendly staff. I had not expected to write an essay lol, but this place definitely deserves its good reviews.
Definitely the BEST ACAI shell in CA!!! It's made with love! And they're supposed to die. All there is is to order fresh and it is always good. And Mark and Shirley are friendly and helpful
Five stars! What a hidden gem! Mark and Shirley are truly something special. The food they create is just how it should be: fresh, made to order, and infused with creativity and meticulous attention to detail. You can truly taste the love that goes into everything they bake. The only surprise is that there are no indoor seats. When you arrive, you'll place your order with Shirley at their cozy spot on the Imperial Beach Pier/Boardwalk. You can either wait outside at the umbrella-covered tables or chat with Mark inside as he passionately prepares delicious dishes just for you. Their fresh pizzas and the best soft-shell tacos I've ever had are a must-try. Thank you!
Fantastic location! I really enjoy the laid-back vibe right on the beach. I moved to the area a couple of months ago and have been here about six times now. They appear to use high-quality ingredients, and while not everything I've tried has been a hit, many dishes were delicious and well-prepared. My favorite items so far include the salt pretzel, cheese pretzel, all the homemade soups, and the hotdogs. My 4-year-old son, who can be a picky eater, also loved these dishes. I can't wait to explore more of their menu during my future visits to the beautiful Imperial Beach!
