Bidra med feedbackMy comment didn 't send to the hotel so posting here: The rooms were nice, and the front desk staff were great. The problem was food service. We went to the morning deluxe continental breakfast there was nothing deluxe about it. With the exception of boiled eggs there was no meat, just bread products. All of that was cheaper quality products set out nicely. The waffles were the cheapest quality frozen I wouldn 't want for my family. So we decided to order off the menu. The staff was rude, and the food sub par. The Denver omelet had 5 price of red bell pepper and the potatoes no seasoning and cold. We had to ask for silverware while it was brought to the table next to us. Two omletes and meat sides to supplement the deluxe breakfast later it was $52 dollar. We just put it to the room and went out for breakfast. On complaint the front desk did give us a discount on the resort fee for one of our two rooms. We will not be returning even though your hotel is the perfect placement in the area when we are here. The hotel itself and hotel staff were great, but the rudeness of food staff and quality of your food service was an insult to the rest on your fine service. Thank you
We were rather disappointed with this property. From its illustrious history to what it is today, this probably isn 't necessarily the place it was from back in the day. The second shift desk clerk was extremely rude and unpleasant. He informed usthat they typically don 't rent to locals, but we seemed to not be, that type , so he allowed us to stay whatever that type ishe was referring to. The rooms were very clean, tidy and presentable. However the room 's patio door stuck and was verydifficult to get open. This would be a very bad thing in the event of a fire. The perimeter doors for the most part wereunlocked during evening hours. Anyone could just walk in to the building. This is one of the reasons our rating is so low. Thebreakfast buffet was excellent and the service by Monique was splendid. The pool and spa was extremely pristine and veryclean. Overall for the exorbitant price they charged us for a one night stay, it just wasn 't worth that fee. This does howeverseem to be a decent place for meetings and banquets. And if you like history and nostalgia, this is the place for you. Howeverit does not meet up to current day standards as far as the technology in the rooms which is lacking. And again security was agreat concern being so lax. We do want you to know that the marble baths only indicate that the marble in the bathrooms onlygoes as far as the counter, floor and walls. There are no actual marble bathtubs. Their marketing department may want toreconsider the wording on their website and advertising materials. We do not recommend this place, but for a last minute, norooms available anywhere else stay.
Haven?t been there in years. Loved the upgrade and pictures on the first floor by the suites. The suite on the first floor is perfect, especially when you have kids. Plenty of room and the extra bathroom is very handy. Refrigerator was nice and cold.Room was dark which was excellent for sleeping. Beds were comfy. Pool was nice. Kids loved it. View was very pretty. Continentalbreakfast was a nice bonus. We will definitely be coming back.
My daughter, her young children, and I recently enjoyed a few relaxing days by the pool. The dining options in Indian Wells were fantastic. The hotel offers live entertainment almost every night of the week, which we greatly appreciated. The music and atmosphere had a wonderful 1940s glamour feel, complete with crooners. My 7-year-old granddaughter was completely captivated, and even the 4-year-old and the 18-month-old were attentive to the performance. While the hotel is somewhat older, it has been nicely renovated, although the carpeting in the dining area could use some improvement. The pool and hot tub were excellent—clean and well-maintained. The poolside service for food and drinks was quite enjoyable, and the views were beautiful. Most of the staff, including waiters and housekeeping, were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a delightful stay.
The bar shuts down at 9 PM, and the pool closes at 10 PM. That's my only complaint. The rooms are lovely, and I appreciate the elegant 60s style, plus the food was quite good. However, during the summer in the desert, one of the highlights is enjoying a late-night swim in the pool.
