Maharani - Ingolstadt

In juni I had recently visited ingolstadt. this restaurant was near my hotel and served me what I needed. the ambiente is good. with good seating outside, which was excellent with the good weather at the time. personal friendly and helpful.

I have eaten on a Wednesday in this restaurant at noon. location: the restaurant is located in Ingolstadt-Friedrichshofen, not far from the hospital and the shopping center westpark. it is located in a strip mall along the friedrichshofener road, which one would most likely call in America. easy to find, and even if they find no parking right in front of the door, there are enough parking spaces. premise: I will always go to eat Indian food or order it for delivery. I have to say had good to excellent experiences all over the world: in italy, Greece, portugal, dubai, the Usa and Great Britain. Although Germany has a considerable population of South Asian origin, the Indian restaurants I have tried were unfortunately at best acceptable on average. I have ordered at various Indian restaurants that supply in ingolstadt, and although all are edible, none really has been thrilling me. the maharani restaurant does not supply my knowledge. I also have some dishes that are my first choice when I first visit an Indian restaurant. these are butter chicken, a vindaloo (meat may vary depending on availability or another great favorit of me rogan josh. there are other courts I like and I would look for if there is a counter-visit. my experience: I arrived at a Wednesday afternoon, curious also by the positive reviews and to compare it with my other experiences in ingolstadt.The interior is not particularly exciting, but it is clean and well organized.The restaurant was at the time when I was maybe 1/3 full. I arrived, looked around, was staged and received the menu card. Although I had looked online as well as before the restaurant, I already knew what I wanted to order. rogan josh was one of the specials of the day on Wednesday, and I was very happy to meet. the waiters hardly looked at me, even when I ordered the rogan josh and a special. I was asked if I would like an salad or a suppe that is included during lunch. I have chosen the salat that promptly came, along with m you drink. the salat was a typical small supplemental salad from sweet, tomato, gurken in a yogurtdressing. I finished the little teller before my main court arrived, and it was in order. then came my main dish and was accompanied by a large portion basmatireis and Naan bread. that surprised me positiw, as one often only gets one or the other. the problem was the main dish, it just didn't seem right, why were kicherbsen in the sauce? and why does the color look different than I used to? I had starved anyway, and who should I contradict? especially if there is no one to fight with. again the waiter hardly took my existence to knowledge and never really looked at me. I ate what was given to me, and I must say it was quite delicious, a relatiw mild curry, and the hammel meat was very delicate. Nevertheless, I was quite sure that this was not what I had ordered. When I was done, my tellers were cleared and I thought to say something, but feared that they would only say that they would do it here. Besides, someone never asked me if my food tasted me or not. So I just asked about that. at the end I have paid 10,20 € and rounded up to 11 or 12 €, because I can't overcome myself not leaving a petty. outside I looked again on the menu card they have exhibited, and there it was: the other hammock special of the day was chana gosht or meat with cherry pebbles. the price for the two dishes was equal, so I didn't get stiff or so, but it was annoying to have got something I didn't actually order (although it was well prepared again). I'm not sure I'll try this place again. often I like to go to a place three times before I give him a final judgment (if possible), but the indifferent service in combination with the wrong court is a difficult thing.

Because of the lockdown, we have let the food be delivered to the hotel. the promised time has been adhered to, the food was delicious and the portions are almost too large. there was nothing to put out in price. everything in everything you can recommend the restaurant only.
