Cd's Bbq Catering - Inman

We ordered 4 plates to go tonight, Ribs that were so tender the meat of the bones, pulled pork (PERFECT ! Fried okra, sweet potato crunch, Hush pups... all delicious. Everyone nice to go on time with the order, not too fast or slow! You won't go hungry or mad.

So we made it back on smoked wing day for our second visit...just to make sure the first visit wasn't a fluke. CD's is the real deal! Ate my first wing without sauce as the ultimate test. Just a little salt brings out a nice smoky flavor--crisp on the outside and moist inside. Fried okra was top shelf, as usual. The baked mac was just like grandma's. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Real iced tea. Gotta taste the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce. I drank the last bit from the dipping cup :o

It's hard to find a good BBQ joint that does good Carolina BBQ. Most places the BBQ is dry or bland or they are going for exotic Lexington BBQ or Texas BBQ.. most of the places in the area are just bleh. Very excited we drove past this place and gave it a try. BBQ was very good but the ribs were some of the best I've ever had. Full of meat and that amazing smoked flavor, didn't even need BBQ sauce. Sides are home made and these people KNOW how to make hush puppies.. 5 stars will be back for sure!

Everything was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed fall-off-the-bone ribs, tender pulled pork, and grilled cheese for the kids, which they loved. We sampled both the Dr. Pepper sauce and the Sweet and Mild sauce; both were tasty and on the side we preferred. We were impressed with everything and can't wait to return soon!

One of my favorite aspects of traveling throughout the Upstate of South Carolina for work is the chance to find hidden gem restaurants off the beaten path. I stumbled upon CD, and it was a fantastic find. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The food was not only delicious but also cooked to perfection. Treat yourself to a wonderful lunch here!
