Very happy with the atmosphere and the food was very good

We have been staying at Castlerigg Farm for a week now and have dined at the Hayloft four times, with each meal being absolutely delightful. The dishes are genuinely home-cooked, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Kudos to the chef—you have created a little haven there! xx

I enjoyed a wonderful meal last night and would highly recommend this place. The lasagna was fantastic, and the chocolate brownies were absolutely delicious!

The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, and there's a campsite right next to it, which made it hard to find at first. However, the staff at both the campsite and the café were incredibly friendly and helpful. We parked there for free. We ordered pizza, which was the only option available at the time, and it was absolutely delicious! It was exactly what we needed!

My partner and I dined here last night. We were staying at the nearby campsite, and given the cold and wet weather, we decided to take their recommendation and eat here. We’re so glad we did! The food was fantastic, clearly prepared fresh to order, and our server was incredibly nice. We were genuinely disappointed we didn’t stay another night, as I would have loved to go back for more of those battered brie wedges!
