Davidson's Country Dining - Innisfil

This charming little restaurant is perfect for a delicious home-cooked meal. The service is fantastic, and the rustic ambiance adds to the experience. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that my wife's prime rib seemed to have picked up a strong liver flavor, likely because it was cooked on the same surface as a liver and onions dish. Aside from that, the food was excellent—fresh-cut fries and seasonal vegetables were a highlight. I definitely plan to visit again soon!

I absolutely love Davison's! I'm from Nova Scotia and whenever I visit friends in Big Bay Point, I never miss the chance to have dinner at Davison's.

We chose this restaurant based on positive reviews, but we quickly realized we had made a mistake. The food clearly wasn't fresh, especially after hearing the microwave beep several times. The meat in the stuffed Yorkshire pudding tasted microwaved and was quite tough, while the pudding itself was very dry. The fish and chips were equally underwhelming; the fish was dry, and the batter was overly greasy. The fries seemed to have been reheated rather than freshly made. My spouse ordered the sirloin and could only say that at least the mashed potatoes were decent. Overall, it was a disappointing meal, and we wish we had opted for a different restaurant.

Very quaint restaurant. Delicious unique home cooked meals. Their lasagna special was better than most Italian dishes we had on our Italian cruise ship last winter! Definitely reasonable prices, great homemade dessert. Try the pecan pie!
