Karlin Inn - Interlochen

Cute little rustic vibe, cozy and inviting. Not too bright, which is great for sensitive eyes. The bathroom was clean and the food was both quick and delicious (granted, we were there early on Sunday and there weren't too many other people so your mileage may vary on the speed of your meal). Honestly, the burger I ordered was just perfect. A little on the greasy side but miles better than anything you're going to get from McDonald's or Burger King. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor and the FRIES. Oh my gosh, the FRIES! They were some of the best fries I've ever had. Our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing the perfect balance. She was very helpful, friendly, and even recommended a local distillery that we went to check out immediately after and enjoyed VERY MUCH. I didn't catch her name but she says she normally only works on Sundays and has been there for about 15 years. I hope the next time we're in the area, that we can stop on a Sunday again.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was outstanding, offering great quality at an affordable price. I ordered a rum and coke, and it was made perfectly. I highly recommend visiting for a pleasant meal and a relaxing time with friends.

This charming little bar and restaurant, tucked away in a remote location, is a hidden gem. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices, including appetizers, pizza, burritos, and fish dishes.
