Bidra med feedbackEvent: Mother's day.Reservation: 12:00. Our reservations were not available until 12:25.Placed food order at 12:35.Was notified that food orders were backed up and suggested to put in dessert orders at the same time as the main course, so we did.Dessert was served at 1:15Main course was served at 1:45.The food was okay, perhaps a bit overpriced. Not memorable.I understand it's a demanding event, but being so severely understaffed on a holiday that coincides with graduation was disappointing.
I tried hard to find something kind to say about the menu, service, or food. I'm not able to as it was a failure on every aspect. A party of 10 and not a single one would return. So buyer beware--take your money elsewhere. Anywhere. I would love it if management would reach out after this review to see if they even care. I have my doubts. This restaurant will be closed in the next year hopefully and the great location taken by owners and chefs who care about their customers.
Over priced and the food wasn’t good. Eggs benedict tasted sour and had the worst stomach ache the rest of the day after eating there. 2 stars for the cold brew and overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Asked for a refund for the food after not eating even a third of it and got 50% off. Never again.
I love the atmosphere at Goosetown. It's warm and inviting, you feel like you're in a special place. Great environment to spend a night with good friends or family.
Brunch was not good at all. We got the prociutto toast and the breakfast sandwich. After quite a while of waiting, they told me they run of the burrata for the prosciutto toast. I ordered something else (ricotta toast) and side of bacon. They brought it before my boyfriend’s food and we were waiting for a long time for his food. The bacon was extremely salty, imposible to eat. The bread was dried and it barely had honey. On top of that, his food was too spicy and flavor was not good, fries were extremely salted and English muffin was not toasted well. They also add a 3% convenience fee if you pay with a credit card (which I know some restaurants have). That wouldn’t be the issue if the food would have been at least okay and they didn’t made us wait so long for our food. This was a very disappointing brunch. We came here because it used to be good.
