Bidra med feedbackMy relatives and I tried the following: pork egg roll, pho tai, and bun Bo hue. Pork egg roll was a bit bland (must be dipped in the sweet fish sauce), bun Bo hue was very sweet (I added extra lime juice to make it taste better), pho tai was good, however, 2 of the bowls didn’t have much noodle and 1 of them was severely lacking it so we had to ask for more. Upon asking for more noodle, no apology was received from the server but it promptly provided. Additionally, we wanted Vietnamese coffee but it seemed the restaurant was understaffed with one server and she explained that it took too much time to brew and it couldn’t be provided. The restaurant was clean and modern, food and service was prompt, service could be improved with more and better customer communication. I would recommend a visit!
Sorry, wanted to like this as I looked at reviews before eating here! I can't recommend eating here unfortunately. I got the Pho with Flat steak and brisket and the broth lacked flavor. I had to add soy sauce, salt, and some sauce from the wings. The side of bean sprouts looked a little old not fresh at all! The wing appetizers were not crisp skin and inside was ****, so not cooked. I only ate one and we left most of the rest. My husband was disappointed in his fries noodle dish. Service was lackluster, no refills for diet coke or water, and no comp on undercooked chicken wings which the waiter acknowledged he thought they came out too soon! For the money, food and service it's a big skip! I'd give it a 2 but feeling generous.
Beautiful, delicious, filling food! Great atmosphere. We accepted, but their seats are comfortable and spacious. The photo is of vermicelli noodle with eggroll, pork chop and shrimp package for takeout. The shrimp pork chop was made perfect and the sauce was so good!
Delicious food at very affordable prices. We ordered the Brisket Pho and another dish and the portions are very large enough for two people. tons of flavors and high-quality ingredients as well. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
I've missed authentic Vietnamese cuisine since I moved here, but I'm incredibly happy to report that everything on the menu feels like it was pulled directly from Little Saigon in Orange County. As others have already mentioned, the service could be somewhat more attentive, but anyone who works there is gracious and welcoming, and we received our entrees very quickly small things, such as the offer to go containers or the refilling of water, are nothing that cannot be improved over time. The egg rolls here are the best in town around a mile. Period. My wife, very health-conscious, ordered the stirring fried noodles with chicken not know that they were crispy, but they came light and airy; the vegetables are well seasoned and perfectly cooked; and the sauce is incredibly delicious without being too thick or heavy. The dish that really seals my love for this place is, however, the dry Vermicelli shell. It's huge as they do in Westminster. It comes with generous help from delicious pork, pork bell, shrimp, a ton of fresh and picked vegetables and tasted almost exactly like the food I grew up. I agree with other reviewers that there is a significantly increased use of sweet chilli sauce compared to fish sauce (the most used sauce in Vietnamese cuisine), but the entrees here are still delicious. It's hard to say exactly what a restaurant like Saigon's Corner means to me. Yeah, the food is great, but for me it means much more than that. The food here, for at least a few hours, made me feel like I was back in California, like I never left. Cooking is so much of our culture, and here in the Middle West it is almost equivalent. It's the reason I hope this business gets all the traffic and it deserves to support. Saigon's Corner feels like home. This is the highest praise I can give.
