Downriver Ice Cream - Ipswich

After spending most of the day at the beach and enjoying seafood, we all still had room for ice cream. This was my first visit, and I will certainly return. I ordered the Dirty Joe, which was coffee ice cream mixed with Oreo pieces and topped with sprinkles!

A must-visit when you're in the North Shore area and the ideal stop after a trip to Crane's Beach.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the flavors seemed somewhat artificial. I tried the sugar-free options, getting a scoop of Maple Walnut and a scoop of Caramel Pecan, which were just okay. My kids ordered Lemon and Mango sorbets but only took a few bites of them.

Kicking off the 4th of July weekend w/a delicious cup of rum raisin!!! Given it is my go to flavor, this is for sure different creamy!!! Glad we found you!!

Real custard ice cream, creative thought the selection of yogurt and sorbets are limited they are marvelous. The location offers a wonderful country setting to enjoy your treat ?..not a zillion cars and people ?.no mass production quality here.
