El Torito Irvine

Service was great food was not. Undercooked and lacking flavor.

We went around closing time on a Monday for dessert. The restaurant was starting to slow down and it was moderately quiet and very clean. We ordered the fried ice cream (indulging in nostalgia, they don’t have these where we live). The fried ice cream did not disappoint and took me back to my very last one I had with my late father. Thank you for the memories El Torito! I was able to go back in time for just a moment and it was perfect!

Great Brunch. Food choices regularly filled with fresh. Only problem we saw was that newly cooked portions were added to the older dishes without taking away the old and warming or reheating. All of the alternative dishes were tasty. Between the two of us, we tried just about every choice, and were not disappointed. The server and the bussing staff were attentive, and cleared used dishes immediately. It was a wonderful Anniversary Brunch

My server was excellent! He was efficient and attentive.

Good selection of dishes, especially the desserts. Don't miss the pancakes. The staff does a good job of keeping all of the dishes filled and they are always very friendly.
