Pista House - Irving

We ordered biryani which is no where close to Biryani. They recommend chicken dum curry and it tasted like some lotion. I ordered butter naan. It?s just naan there?s no butter it was soggy and dry. Haleem is disheartening. Taste average and justlook at the presentation. I paid $13 for Haleem. Thanks will never recommend or come back here.

Sitafal (sugar apple lassi) tasted extraordinary. Tried Haleem for the first time in my life, it a was worse. On top, there was a beat in it. I just gave them back the haleem. Chicken Briyani was also very average. Would give 0 for ambiance and space. Justone Briyani was $18.99, not worth the money.

This restaurant is really inconsistent in the recent 1-2 years timeframe which was not the case previously before pandemic. The taste has gone down tremendously and biriyanis are mostly cold with no or less masala on it. Disappointing to see Pista House Irving do bad in terms of taste and quality and I am highly resistant to go back here which was once my favorite place in whole DFW area.

I’ve ordered Gongura goat curry with some Naans and goat biryani and I’ve even checked my order at restaurant and it mentioned as same gongura goat curry but I found out after reaching my home that they have given me some chicken instead of gongura goat curry. I’ve called and told them what I’ve got and they’re like- Will check with the chef and call me back but I’ve waited for an hour and no response when I called couple of times.Please be make sure every time what you order and what you’ve got. Biryani was not good at all and Naan is okay.

Went here for dinner, the service is very poor and the staffs also didn’t communicate well. We waited 45 mins after ordering, and they never mentioned why the food was delayed. After asking multiple times, they say it’s a printer issue and the order was just sent inside. But almost 50 other people who came after us were given food.The taste of the food is also very average, but definitely overpriced. The ambiance is average too. Wouldn’t definitely recommend!
