Living far away, I serve from this pastry on the occasions when I return to Isernia from my parents. And it's always a certainty! Not only for cakes, buy for some special occasion, but also for pasta on Sunday lunch and hot pastries for breakfast.
Before it was much more artisanal, now seen success and a little more commercial, but it is worth stopping to taste good things.
