Bidra med feedbackPatrick is a ROCKSTAR!!! Collect lots of great tips for fishing. He told me where we could be lucky. He even took the time to build some of my poles!! This guy made our trip to Islamorada so much more pleasant.
Great people. Very friendly. Great prices Hooked my daughter up with everything she needed to start fishing. Walked out of there with a rod reel and extra hooks, and a bag of skittles for under $40 They host a fishing fun seminar on Thursdays for anyone that would like to learn fishing in the keys. Hands on fun. Wish I could give them 10 stars
Great place. Very friendly and very helpful. Patrick is a world of knowledge and very helpful. He is truly an asset to Abel's. We loved the fishing clinic. Patrick was always there when you needed equipment or advise. Thank you for a great experience.
Stayed in islamorado for our honeymoon. We went to Ables to get fishing tackle. Mrs. Lynn was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and places to visit In islamorado and along the keys. Patrick treated us like family the moment we met him. From sharing fishing spots, setting up poles/lines, to taking his time to work with us and making sure we were set up and ready to fish. He didn’t try to sell us on things we didn’t need and was a straight shooter; very honest which we really appreciated! His love for people and fishing was very refreshing and he made our trip memorable!!! We will definitely be back!
Patrick is amazing! We stopped by for some bait, and he was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and giving us tips since we had never fished in saltwater before. He mentioned that he runs a class on the beach every Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon, where he teaches fishing skills and techniques, so we decided to attend. His attitude is fantastic; he's incredibly patient and does a great job of teaching. We learned how to properly hook and wrap live shrimp to avoid losing bait, and we saw so many people catching fish. We gained a lot of knowledge and had a blast! Plus, we got to see two male corn and their chicks in Pelican Cove, which was an added bonus!
