Bidra med feedbackWe chose both starters: scallops served with a delicious butternut squash sauce and a pudding. For the main course, we had John Dory paired with a rich puree, which was absolutely divine. Dessert options included a lemon meringue cheesecake and a cheese platter with homemade crackers and chutney. I opted for the fig chutney with Hereford blue cheese, which was an absolute delight. I highly recommend booking a table as soon as possible!
I had a wonderful dining experience at a beautiful restaurant located in the heart of St. Agnes. It can get quite crowded during peak vacation times in the summer, but it's definitely worth a visit! You can choose to eat indoors or outdoors, and dining outside is particularly nice on sunny days. They serve excellent meals, or you can simply enjoy coffee and cream tea if you choose to go during the lunch or evening meal hours.
The Coastguard Restaurant has undergone some changes, and I must say, the menu and staff are excellent. They offer a wide variety of homemade bread, including gluten-free options. I look forward to visiting again the next time we’re in the area!
