If you are looking for a typical trattoria with excellent dishes, generous portions and at an excellent price, you are in the right place. The service was very fast and the staff very welcoming. The place is very characteristic. Although in the end the bill was lower than I expected, both for the quality and the abundance of the dishes, I would suggest still having a paper menu to show the prices of the various dishes. The restaurant is located near Piedicastello from which it takes its name. The entrance is beautiful and the woody theme is beautiful, the Easter decorations and the tables are cute. However it looked very much like an old village restaurant, I especially didn't like the buffet. The food was good as far as the first courses are concerned, the drinks should be reviewed, draft beer was missing. Generous portions and cooked well, even for a business lunch. Worst note service. Menu told only by word of mouth, without prices, and they certainly focus a lot on kindness (all polite and young people), but more training is needed. Not excellent with timing (bread arrived at the end of the meal), hot drinks and especially at the time of payment. The owner is the only one who knows how to make cash, and if he is not present you can only wait. Acceptable prices, although I would have appreciated a discount due to the endless wait. I would have liked to have indicated them on the menu though.
