Bidra med feedbackOnly a few minutes walk from the hotel we were there; came for some local food and was not disappointed. service was extremely attentive. make sure that the restaurant is closed on Thursday due to the current health federal mandate.
We came to dinner and we had tacos dorados con pollo, tacos de res and guacamole. for drinks we had watermelon and guanabana (exotic fruit with white juice) juice. the service was excellent and we even had a mandarina ice cream for dessert. I'm sorry. because of the lack of photos, but we were hungry!
Breakfast and other choice) there are for 31 years to ixtapa. good eating excellent service. very nice to see that it is still strong. friendly staff, exceptionally clean and very fast. great icy cap and big coffee, eating will be nice. we will be back and always tell people it is worth going.
We have spent four months total in Ixtapa over the last two years and walked by this place many times. We decided to give it a try for lunch on one of our last days here. The service was all right but we have had...better in a lot of the other restaurants. My wife had the club sandwich and even though it look a bit different than normal she said it was tasty. I had the Cuban torta which I have had many times in other restaurants and I would rank this pretty low. It had lots of filling including a Mexican sausage (wiener) but it really lacked any flavour. I added mustard and some pickled peppers but still not very tasty. I didn’t even finish the sandwich, which is very unusual for me. The fries were okay. I am not sure I would return for lunch but everyone seems to enjoy breakfast here, maybe next year.
Nueva Zelanda Ixtapa is a great little 50's diner that is in a great location with great prices and friendly service. It offers really good coffee and a very decent breakfast. It has the best green juice in Ixtapa; you can even order it to go for 35 pesos and I did. Enjoy 50's tunes and memorabilia ... there is even astroturf underfoot and nice bathrooms. We went there three or four times in our 21 day trip.
