Shiro Cafe Ethiopian Cuisine - Jackson

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic! The flavors were absolutely spot on, and the portion sizes were generous! My partner and I sampled a variety of vegetable sides, spicy lentils, and Shiro, all of which were incredibly delicious! I have visited many Ethiopian restaurants, and I would definitely rank this one near the top. Additionally, the woman who served us was very kind! We were just passing through, but we would certainly stop by again if we find ourselves in the area.

My husband and I stopped at Shiro Cafe on our way back to Texas from Florida. As vegans, we were looking to try something new, and we were not disappointed! We absolutely loved everything we ordered. The only downside is that we can’t enjoy it again unless we return to the area.

I recently stopped by for lunch and I'm so glad I did! This hidden gem in Jackson offers incredible flavors with everything meticulously seasoned. There’s a wide selection to choose from, and the staff is friendly and ready to assist you in making a choice. I ordered the beef over rice with curry and cheeks, and everything was beautifully cooked, resulting in a truly satisfying meal. If you're in this area of the city and looking for a great place to eat, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

First introduction to Ethiopian food, and so delicious. The shiro is amazing.
