The chicken itself was cooked to a nice golden color, but it was flavorless and tasted only of the deep-fried oil it was cooked in. I also ordered livers, but they tasted just like the chicken—nothing but frying oil. I spent $21, and they even charged extra for hot sauce when ordering chicken! I ended up throwing my meal away, and I was very disappointed. This place has really changed for the worse, and I won't be returning!
The chicken was average, and the portion sizes were decent. Everything was served hot, but the roll was just a plain, cold roll—nothing impressive. The building itself is showing signs of neglect and could use some upkeep.
Love this restaurant and the food is always delicious! My husband Fred Haynes would eat lunch here almost daily!
