Mojo B Que, A Southern Blues Kitchen

This is definitely my favorite spot for BBQ, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. All three of these dishes are essential when dining at Mojo's! Our server, Chris, was incredible last night! I give it a full 5 stars!!!

Mojo's is an amazing spot for fantastic barbecue paired with some truly delicious sides. My daughter and her husband introduced us to the location in Lakewood, which I absolutely love, and we've also visited the one in St. Augustine. We can't get enough of their burnt ends brisket appetizer—oh my goodness, they're incredibly salty and so tender they practically melt in your mouth. The pulled pork is consistently delicious, especially when served with their sweet potato mash, which is both sweet and crunchy and could even double as dessert. They offer a variety of beers, but I prefer sweet iced tea, and theirs has a delightful southern flavor. The servers at the Lakewood location have become friends of ours since we visit regularly, and we always look forward to seeing them. Plus, the atmosphere is fantastic, featuring Southern blues music and great posters. Overall, it's just a superb place!

My sister and I visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch; she ordered the smoked turkey while I had the ribs. The food was incredible—truly excellent, authentic barbecue. Our waitress, whose name I didn’t catch, took fantastic care of us; I couldn't have asked for a more attentive server. If you're craving some hearty barbecue, this is the place to be. And do yourself a favor and try the corn—it's absolutely out of this world!
