Muddy's - Jacksonville

Delicious coffee! The ham and cheese croissants are fantastic as well! This place is a true gem in Jacksonville.

During my visit to New River Marine Air Station to see my son, who serves with HMH-464, I stumbled upon Muddy’s! The coffee was excellent, and I even had the opportunity to chat with Gunnery Sergeant Waters, also known as ‘Muddy’. I put their coffee to the test with a double espresso, and it did not disappoint! If you're looking for great coffee near the base, this is the place to go!

Great Coffee Service, Even Better Story Enjoyed going to a coffee shop that has a story to tell and it’s easy to tell this coffee shops story the second you walk in! Retired Gunnery Sargeant Waters, a.k.a. ‘Muddy’ and his wife deliveries coffee eats with the same care they gave the Corps! You are sure to feel welcome, like visiting an old friend. His business supports the Marines at New River Camp Lejeune and the plaques of apperception adorn the wall.

The coffee was quite good and just what we needed during our road trip to Nags Head.

Got a mocha coconut iced latte and it was awesome, owner had the best hospitality. Friendly environment!!!
