Bidra med feedbackWhile driving through Jaffrey, my wife and I decided to stop at this restaurant for the first time. I was in the mood for a coffee and a quick bite. Although the menu was limited, my wife asked if they could make a custom order, which they happily accommodated and prepared quickly. She enjoyed her meal and said it was delicious. I ordered a large slice of blueberry cheesecake, which was absolutely fantastic. Their dessert selection all looked enticing. I also grabbed a coffee to go, which tasted fresh but could have been hotter. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a quick snack. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly.
Went to first perks for breakfast, found the food was awesome but the service was questionable. The moment we walked in we felt like all eyes were on us as “outsiders” and the way we got served felt no different. But would recommend the food...here to anyone if you’re in the area.
We stopped here on our way up to Radium Hot Springs from Montana because we saw the sign. We are sooooo glad we did. I had the BLT and the soup of the day was clam chowder, my husband had the signature panini . The bread for both was rich and fresh, toasted to perfection with a soft center. The BLT proportions were perfect and the clam chowder was fresh and creamy with big pieces of fresh carrots and potato. The service was super friendly and the place clean and charming. As we left we purchased a house made date bar for the road and were absolutely floored by the buttery shortbread crust and rich fresh date filling. This is an excellent gem tucked away in a tiny mountain byway.
This is such an awesome coffee shop. We had amazing wholesome lunch here in April. Mmm the food is so delicious. You must stop if you are hungry. Driving through Cranbrook nothing appealed to us for lunch. This was worth the wait!
Besides eating the delicious meals at First Perk I also buy my coffee there. They have the best coffees from all over the world to choose from. Today I am drinking their Ethiopian coffee. I really love the country feel at First Perk, although it is a cafe that could be a big hit in any city. I think First Perk was made for me. I just love it. Try it, you will love it too. Its worth a drive for lunch on any day ... from Cranbrook, Fernie, Sparwood Kimberley etc.
