Swede Hollow - Jakobsberg

The service at this restaurant is very poor. I had to ask for the menu after being seated, and when I ordered a ham and cheese platter, I was disappointed to find that the Comte cheese was not up to my expectations. The waiter brought me a different cheese to prove me wrong, but it still did not meet my standards. I had to fetch my own cutlery and napkin, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than attending to my needs. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in terms of both food quality and service. I would recommend trying the Max burger next door if you are staying at the hotel.

We recently visited Swede Hollow as part of the Ice Bar dinner for two experience during our one-night stay in Stockholm. We ordered the tender beef with wine and champagne, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. However, the highlight of our evening was our waiter Daniel from Slovakia, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Daniel's exceptional service truly made our dinner one to remember. Throughout our travels, we have never encountered such a kind and professional waiter who showed us both kindness and respect from the moment we arrived. Despite a busy night, Daniel took the time to chat with us, making our first visit even more special. Thank you, dakujeme, Daniel, for being a rare gem in the hospitality industry. Great restaurant to visit after icebar experience. Chocolate truffle amazing! Nice to try traditional Swedish meatballs. Veggie options too

The food served here was delicious. We felt that service was slow, but that might be more of a cultural thing as it happened in most restaurants. Staff was friendly. We stated at the hotel so we ate here a few times.

We ate here following a visit to the ice bar. Don’t let the fact it’s located in a horse turn you off as you are missing out! We enjoyed a fantastic herring tasting plate, a tasty potato pancake with salmon, crepe fraiche and dill, and some wonderful Swedish meatballs with mash and lingonberries. All delicious. The waiter was also lovely and very friendly, making the whole experience a good one. If you want to try some authentic Swedish dishes, it’s definitely worth a look in.
