Bidra med feedbackLove the company and the West Rox location is WONDERFUl but I never had a successful order from the JP location. If it's true, the sandwich is a mess with bread that's solid like a rock. I no longer trust to order from the JP location.
I absolutely love The Real Deal. I?m a foodie and command some fairly high flavor expectations for an establishment to earn a 5 star review but they do. I?ve sampled quite a bit of the menu and haven?t come across an item I didn?t think was outstanding. You really can?t go wrong with any item, but honorable mention goes to the homemade meatballs! My *one* gripe is how early they close because some of my biggest Real Deal cravings kick in when it?s too late to act on them! But now that I?ve gotten that off my chest, I highly recommend! :
Great subs and great pizza! Real deal makes one of the best pizzas in the city. Their pies are New York/CT style, as apposed to the Greek pizza you find at most places around the city.
This place is the real deal! All joking aside I found this place to be very interesting. It's more or less standard house of pizza fare (plus burgers) but sort of elevated in a way. The chicken strips for instance are not frozen and shipped like most places, but battered in house with some proprietary blend. The mozzarella sticks similarly had a very good fry and breading and a great cheese stretch. My only criticism is please fix the marinara sauce. It was on the thin side, no delicious chunks of tomato and it didn't really stick to the mozzarella sticks. People like thick hearty marinara sauce!
We stopped by for a quick bite before our Sam Adams Brewery tour, and were absolutely blown away. The food was a shift from the norm, it was amazing, fresh, plentiful, and very well priced. The girl that rang us up was super patient, described the dishes we asked about, and genuinely cared about how we enjoyed the food. We aren't in the area very often, but if we are again, we will absolutely be back. Thank you!
