Bidra med feedbackI've stayed at my fair share of hotels over the years, which means I've had plenty of experience with hotel restaurants. As many people would agree, these restaurants can be quite hit or miss, and this one was no exception. I ordered the Turkey Burger, which I prefer over beef burgers, so I'd like to think I know a thing or two about turkey burgers. Despite the tempting descriptions on the menu, I decided to enhance my meal by adding sautéed onions and smoked provolone cheese. How could it go wrong? Unfortunately, I found myself on the losing side with a stale bun and a frozen, pre-packaged patty. On the bright side, they do offer a decent selection of local NY craft beers at a reasonable NYC price, which is probably the best thing about the place. The guy next to me had the chicken quesadillas, and they certainly looked delicious, but I didn't have the same luck. Maybe next time?
This small restaurant, located within a Sheraton, initially made me skeptical as it didn't seem to align with the hotel's brand standards. However, the service was absolutely outstanding. Although I didn't get to meet the chef, he took the time to come out and inquire with each guest about their dining experience. The food was truly delightful. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection, and while the rosemary lemon chicken was also good, it could benefit from a bit more seasoning and salt. Nevertheless, my mom enjoyed it so much that she finished her plate. The desserts were a pleasant surprise—reminiscent of those from Ladurée—they truly won me over. The service was a bit slow, but after a long day exploring NYC—and coming from a small town where life moves at a more leisurely pace—I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere.
New York craft beer, a good burger, and prompt, friendly service. You really can’t ask for much more from a hotel bar and restaurant.
I stay here from time to time for work. Service is okay. Food is marginal and everything is overpriced $18 hamburger and $6.50 bottled beers. The burger was completely overcooked as was the egg and bacon on top of it. Stranded here though....
This has changed into a new hotel not under Marriott anymore. I walked in and went to where restaurant use to be and it 's vacant and was approached rudely by 3 individuals saying this was private property and you can 't walk back into restaurant . Use to be nice place now looks like a front hotel!
