Shawbucks - Jamestown

The broiled cod was perfectly sized and absolutely delicious. I also tried the French onion soup and ordered some garlic bread. I'm looking forward to returning for those mussels!

The staff were incredibly friendly, and there was a wide selection of beers at affordable prices. However, we didn't sample the food.

It's been a while since I went out, and for my second visit to Shawbucks, I had an amazing time. The bartenders were great, the DJ played fantastic music, and the atmosphere was unforgettable. I would recommend this bar to anyone who loves music and late-night drinks. My experience was wonderful, and I always run into old friends here.

We visited this restaurant for dinner before an event at the Reg Lenna Theater, and I'm really glad we made a reservation because the place was packed by the time we left. The atmosphere was cozy, and even with the crowd, the tables were well spaced apart, so it didn’t feel overly crowded. Our server was fantastic; she handled all my silly jokes and one-liners with a smile and laughter. For our appetizer, we ordered arancini (deep-fried risotto balls), which were absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we had the upside-down meatloaf and the pork chop dinners—both were excellent and came in generous portions. Although we don’t visit Jamestown very often, we would definitely become regulars if we lived closer. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try!

I was in town for a performance and I highly suggest making a reservation in advance. We sat at the bar, where the bartender provided excellent service, and the food was delicious. The fried pickles were outstanding!
