Ohana Sushi Grill - Jasper

Very professional and fast service. Dressings , sauces and crab Rangoons are made from scratch/in house. Awesome food choices for any type of cuisine not only Asian, sushi, American, etc. there is a variety of entrees to fulfill your craving.

The bathroom smelled like the sewer it is hopefully attached to and that's always a good sign to run but my daughter was eager to dine there so off to the appetizer!! Have you ever had a really good crab cake? Treasure that memory because you won't here. If a crab would crawl across a Twinkie and defecate it would probably taste better. My daughter's crab legs were quite good but for 45 dollars a tool to crack them would've been nice instead of her fingers, teeth and one napkin she was provided. I chose the jumbo shrimp boil. The sausage was the best part of the mix after the chewy umbilical ends were separated from the organ. The corn was tasteless so I asked for salt and pepper to spice up what i suspected was field corn which was delivered in teeny packets but with lack of napkins, it was a sodden mess. When I finally waved the waitress down for the check she asked if I wanted a to go box but I like my pets too much to insult them with that mess. That's a hundred dollar mistake I'll not make again.

My cousin and I ate here on July 31st for dinner. Suddenly they were slammed with customers. Our waitress, appeared to be the only waitress on the floor at first. Nevertheless, she gave 200% to make our visit the best! If Ohana loses Brit to another resturant shame on you. This gal needs an award and an raise!! Thank you, Brit for making our evening enjoyable.

I liked this place much better before the renovation. I'm not a fan of how chic and flashy the interior is now, but that's me. Drinks tasted off, almost flat. Food was very blah. Sushi was awful, tasted a bit dried out and the amount of sauce was about the size of my pinky nail. I wouldn't recommend. Though I want to say, the staff was kind and friendly, even while they were short-handed they were great.

Very surprising for the little town of Jasper. Ethnic food at a reasonable price and good quality. The calamari was the best I've had in many years.
