Zax Creamery - Jasper

My son is allergic to milk. I went in for a milkshake for myself and was surprised to see that there were a couple dairy free options and wound up getting him a scoop. I did tell them about the milk allergy and made sure to ask that the dairy free waskept fully separate from the regular flavors, different scoops/equipment and all, was told yes. My son wound up with ananaphylactic reaction and had to get an EpiPen and go to the ER. We know there's a risk of cross contamination any time we eatout and that the responsibility ultimately lies with us, and the staff was very kind when we called from the ER to get theingredient list, but I'm just leaving this review in case any other parents of milk allergic kids are wondering if this is asafe option (it was not in our case). My full dairy chocolate milkshake was delicious!

I would give 10 stars if it we're an option.This place is the JEWEL of Jasper.. The younger staff are motivated ,kind,and courteous! If you like ice cream well it's top notch,if you want a smoothie well then we're talking out of this world!!. BTW trythe peach smoothie. You won't be disappointed. I promise.

This is my absolutely favorite coffee/ice cream place. Both Jasper and Montgomery are amazing. Great people, great service, great product!!
