El Jinete Mexican - Jefferson

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions about the menu without a hint of annoyance. The place itself was clean and well-maintained. The food was delicious, and there was a great selection of hot sauces to please any palate. I especially loved the tacos and the margaritas! (Though I should mention that the margaritas were a bit on the pricey side.)

I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, it fell short. While the service and prices were commendable, the food was merely average. The carnitas were dry, bland, and quite disappointing. I expected tender, juicy pork with some onion and cilantro, but what I got was far from moist. The rice and refried beans were passable, and the spicy beef dish was just average as well. On a positive note, the portion sizes were generous. I'm also glad I had eaten before using the restroom, as they were in dire need of a deep clean and repairs.

I had a fantastic experience at this Mexican restaurant, both in terms of the food and the ambiance. The waitstaff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the visit even better. The strawberry daiquiris were absolutely delightful; I’ve never had a drink that made me say, “Wow, I can actually taste the alcohol!” It was just perfect. Additionally, there's a Quality Inn nearby, making it convenient to walk over from the hotel. If you're around on the weekend, don't miss the two huge flea markets. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine.

This place was amazing! The staff was VERY polite and gave me a chance to practice my Spanish. The food was great! Looking forward to going back again next week.

The food was almost average Mexican food. Meat was way over cooked on my 1/2 order of Texas nachos. Nothing made the lunch pop.
