It might sound crazy to say this, especially when one is in Jeju — an island famed for its fresh seafood — but the Italian food at Purblack was among the best meals, if not the best, we had during our time here. A tiny restaurant in a small alley with some of the best Italian food we've ever had, and for very reasonable prices. It was definitely one of the best meals we had in Jeju. At the end of our meal the chef even served us honeycomb, for free, that he'd made as a hobby. We ordered the seaweed pasta, grilled cabbage salad and steak. All were made to perfection.

This place was so great, we went back for a second night! We are from Brooklyn, New York and we were so impressed by the service and food. The chefs were helpful with selecting the right meals. I highly recommend this place!

Best Italian food in Jeju Island! This food increased my interest in Italian food. I had to come to this part of the world to discover my passion to Italian food. Not only the service but the idea of cooking food right next to you made this place ideal. Fresh ingredients, right flavors, and perfect combinations made this place amazing. Highly recommended. Thank you for the chefs to have amazing service. I will definitely come again someday!
