Eighty Ocean Kitchen And

Eighty Ocean is our favorite restaurant on Jekyll Island. The space is so elegant. Whether dining indoor, outdoor or at bar, it’s all fantastic. We enjoyed a fantastic brunch today. Stacy and Celine were so gracious and attentive. The live music was excellent too.

Came here for dinner and breakfast. It was usually nice service, but breakfast could have been better. Too gluten-free and vegan the veggie pasta would have had more of a variety of vegetables, but it's okay.

Our server had no clue how to wait on guests. He was uninformed as to what was in the dishes and didn’t try and take the imitative to check the menu or ask for help describing. My husband ordered a beer and when it was finished there wasn’t even a question as to wether or not he would like another. Food portions do not represent what you are served at all. Our server explained that the pictures online were probably 3 years old and needed updating. He never asked how our meal was, would we like coffee after dinner or even desert. 10% tip didn’t reflect the poor service and disappointing meal. One and done for us unfortunately.

Very good drinks and dinner on Monday night. At the bar waiters and waiters were very friendly and helpful. Good size redfish and very well made... along with good drinks.

We visit Eighty Ocean every time we go to Jekyll. Twice a year usually. This restaurant is consistently excellent. We love the decor of the living room next to the restaurant for pre/post dinner drinks.
