Very tasty food. Good prices. Huge plates. Also they have a very nice and calm cat inside.

Food is great, but you can only pay cash and closest cash machine is nearly a km away

Very busy place on Saturday time after Lunch (around 16:00), so at least 15 min for waitress to receive your order and then minimum half an hour to have your meal served. So be patient and reserve time for sitting in nice old fashioned tavern! Unfortunatelly they are out of Bauska beer and that is kind of shame because of the name you cannot get what you expect to have. What comes for meal portions. Those are great for people that likes food just like me. For others recommended to take half a portion and enjoy it! If you will not win the battle even with that half portion you can take away what's left.

Cash only unfortunattelly. Small meat portion is enough even for a man. Cesar salad with chicken and meat was pretty good a lot of meat, size was ok, there was an egg added, so not exactly classic Cesar salad is served here, but still it was very good.

Food is very good BUT after waiting a long time until waitress finally came to us, we ordered the half portion meal but got full portion. Ofc we had to pay for full portion, because waitress just wrote it down wrong and after arguing she didn't even apologise. There is also no card payment, only cash.
